Things-to-Know if Participating

Booth Participant Information

Any trailers being used by participants in the park activities must be placed in the park Wednesday night via appointment with Community Days Co-Chairman Jeff Baronick. Please call us at 814-371-5011 for Mr. Baronick's contact information. Other types of setups (tents) can set up anytime Thursday morning until the time community days begins.  We prefer that you are completely setup by 3 p.m. Friday. There will be people at the park to assist you in finding your location.  The park is laid out in blocks and each block has a sign to indicate the occupant.  We will not have setup information and lot locations for you ahead of setup.

Booths must be there for BOTH days.  You can tear down after or during the fireworks but you CAN NOT bring any vehicles into the park for teardown during the event. Liberty Blvd.  is closed until after the fireworks, so vehicles are not allowed to access the special loading/unloading lane until AFTER the fireworks.. All booths must be removed by Sunday  morning unless you have made special arrangements with Mr. Baronick.

Electric is available at a cost, both 110 and 220. That information is available via our online booth registration or in the papers that were mailed with booth invitations for returning booths.  Call us if you do not have the needed information and to arrange payment.

Parade Participant Information

All details relating to the parade; including judging and line-up information, and rules and guidelines were mailed to all invitees.  If you need another copy of that information, or never received a mailed invitation, click here for a PDF download. Parade registration starts at 3pm and will be at the corner of Main Street and Spring Ave.  We encourage units to come in to the parade registration via 219N/S to Dixon Ave (you will see NAPA Auto and DuBois Health and Wellness), take Dixon Ave (State Route 4019) to Main Street then turn right on to Main Street near Penn Highlands Hospital and proceed to Spring Ave and Parade Registration. If using Google Maps below, choose the 219S alternative if it is presented when coming from North of DuBois on 219S.

Fire truck judging will be prior to the parade start at the DuBois Area Middle School Parking lot.  Judging starts at 1pm. Departments can park their units to be judged and walk across the street to the Community Days Festival to wait while your unit is judged.  All fire department units will leave the parking lot starting at 3:15pm and proceed to parade registration via 219S to Dixon Ave.
